Band Parents: you should have received a letter from your student today explaining the different ways you can stay informed on band events and schedules. One of course is the central band website, another is our Facebook page. We are also introducing a new text message service called Remind101. This is a free service where you can sign up to receive text message alerts from me to your phone. This is another way to stay informed on things such as rehearsal schedule, call times for football games, contests and fundraiser order pick up times. Instructions on signing up are included in the letter your student picked up. If they were not present, set up is easy. 

Send a text message to 276-708-7958. In the body of the message type @22415. I have different accounts for parents and students but you can sign up for either. Again, this is free and your information is kept private. Standard text rates apply per whatever plan you have with your service provider. With how hectic everyone's life is I believe it is best to have as many communication options as possible. Email me with any questions.
