Next week schedule (VERY IMPORTANT)

Next week the gears will start turning for school to start. Monday January 6 beginning at 9am we will move one more load to the new school. We need as much help as possible from students and parents. Tuesday January 7 we have a brief rehearsal for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. Meet at the new Bandroom at noon. Wednesday January 8 report time for the ceremony is 3pm. Dress is professional, dress clothes and tie. This is a very important ceremony, it is important we represent ourselves well. School board officials, television crews and town officials will all be present.

Happy Holidays! Schedule for new school move in and such

High school folks don't forget to report to the Bandroom as soon as you get to school tomorrow. We have a Christmas assembly at 9am at LF Addington MS, the bus is leaving CHS at 8:30. We should be back by 10am, dress is casual. 

If you have any personal items in the Bandroom and or storage room, they must be removed by the end of school tomorrow. This includes any or all of the following items=

CLOTHES, books, school projects, your personal owned instrument, MARCHING BAND SHOES, music, school projects, etc.

Long story short, any personal items left over break will be thrown out. We will not be returning to the old Bandroom when we come back to school. I will begin moving small items into the new school after Christmas. I will probably begin asking for help with big stuff after New Years. 

The concert band will be performing at the new school ribbon cutting ceremony on January 8, there will be a rehearsal on January 7. Exact times and details will be given as soon as I am informed. 

Pound Parade tomorrow!

I hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving with family and friends. I certainly enjoyed a visit to my family. Don't forget we have the Pound parade tomorrow, call time is noon. Bring money for Robo's Diner, we will be stopping there after the parade. On Tuesday December 3 we have our first after school concert band rehearsal from 3:45-6. Our Christmas concert is only two weeks away! See everyone tomorrow!

Parades, rehearsals and Christmas concert

Don't forget we have the Pound Christmas Parade on Sunday, December 1. Call time is noon. Remember this date when planning your thanksgiving break. We have our first concert band rehearsal on Tuesday December 3 from 3:45-6. Wise Christmas Parade in Sunday December 7. Dress rehearsal for our concert is Tuesday December 10 3:45-6 and our concert is Thursday December 12 at 6pm.
